Transcribe your guitar tabs easily, and finally.

When I saw the new service SoundSlice this morning, I realized how everything on the internet has changed for the past 20 years, except for guitar tab transcribing. Come to think of it, we all use ascii, and no interface has dominated up until, hopefully, SoundSlice. The cool thing is that it connects to YouTube, which gives the service an extra added value. You can now watch your favorite YouTube song, and add or view the guitar tabs to it! Happy playing!

Why are businesses trying to be social when to date, most have made a business out of being anti-social? The voice of the consumer is in risk of falling upon deaf ears as businesses explore operational efficiencies before they can get the answer to why customers want to engage with them in social networks. First and foremost, it’s not “to get information” nor is it to build “a community with the brand.” Customers are far too practical and distracted to invest their time in the long-term for such reasons.

Get rid of your printer and use Preview for your signature

I love these tips by Lifehacker on tricks to get the most out of Mac OS Lion. The only problem I’ve had since throwing out my printer some years ago, was when I needed to sign a letter with my signature. What a waste of time finding a copyshop, printing, signing my signature and then posting the letter. The application Preview in Lion allows you to create a digital signature by using iSight. It doesn’t work for jpegs, but for PDF’s, it rocks. Check Lifehacker to see how it works!
